  4. ADOPT-A-DOOR
  5. ------------
  6.    Runs after any door program and prior to returning to the BBS.
  7.    Displays formatted screen promoting the ADOPT-A-DOOR concept or
  8.    you can replace with your own message!
  9.  
  10. Automated Conference Listing Generator (by Network)  *PCB 14.5a*
  11. ---------------------------------------------------
  12.    A utility that creates the conference display file. Most Sysops
  13.    use an editor to create the conference listing, more commonly
  14.    called CNFN. As you add/change/delete conferences you end up
  15.    spending hours trying to realign and colorize the display. If
  16.    you happen to add a whole network, you could very well spend
  17.    more time fixing the conference listing, than creating the
  18.    conferences themselves. This utility does not create any
  19.    extraneous files on disk and uses the CNAMES file as input.
  20.    There is no need to create a second file for the colorized
  21.    listing, as the program uses the @X variables made available
  22.    in PCBoard v14.5. Just about everything is configurable, from
  23.    verbage to colors.

  25. Baseball Dice
  26. -------------
  27.    Baseball Dice plays pretty much like a regular game of baseball
  28.    with the exception that you use dice to "hit" the ball and we
  29.    do not count the balls and strikes (ie: 1 strike = a strikeout
  30.    AND 1 ball = a walk). The object of the game is to beat the
  31.    game score that I, the Sysop, have already posted. Once you
  32.    have beaten the score, you may choose to quit the game or you
  33.    can play through the entire 9 innnings.

  35. Betsy Ross Solitaire
  36. --------------------
  37.    A fast paced card solitare game. You must remove the cards from
  38.    the grid, as well as from the deck, and move them to the
  39.    foundation piles. Sounds easy, but the sequence you must follow
  40.    for removing the cards is unique. Very hard to beat the game. I
  41.    haven't been able to do it yet, and I play this constantly.

  43. Box Dice
  44. --------
  45.    Another fast-paced dice game where the object is to remove all
  46.    24 boxes from the grid, based on the roll of the dice. VERY
  47.    hard to remove all boxes and at times extremely frustrating.

  50. BOX POKER
  51. ---------
  52.    Play 5 card stud poker on a 5x5 board grid. You place the 25
  53.    cards on the grid to form the best poker hands and accummulate
  54.    points.

  58.    The CLASSIFIED Ads Door allows your callers to post classified
  59.    ads in up to 340 different categories. The categories are
  60.    defined by you, the Sysop, along with the number of days you
  61.    want the ads to be active. A maintenance program, that runs at
  62.    night in your event, will handle the purging automatically.
  63.    Creates a bulletin of all available Ads for posting in your
  64.    Bulletin Menu.

  66.    Contains its own Message Base, which allows callers to leave a
  67.    to the Ad Poster!

  69.    ** If you would like to share/exchange databases with other Sysops

  74. Cryptograms

  76.    Cryptograms is played exactly as you would play the ones
  77.    appearing in newspapers, magazines and puzzle books. A coded
  78.    sentence (normally a phrase) is presented to you and you must
  79.    break the code by substituting letters and analyzing the
  80.    sentence structure.

  82. DOMINOES
  83. --------
  84.    An ALL-TIME FAVORITE, now as a Door. Dominoes are played
  85.    with a Double-Six pack of 28 tiles. The player is playing
  86.    against the computer for points. Scoring encompasses winning
  87.    and losing points, thus making the game very competitive for
  88.    your callers. Does NOT require the use of BRUN45.EXE and it
  89.    now includes Fossil-based multi-port card support!

  91. GROAN Dice
  92. ----------
  93.    GROAN Dice is a fast paced dice game played with 3 8-sided die. Each die
  94.    contains the normal 1-6 values plus a GROAN and a JACKPOT. The object of
  95.    the game is to accumulate and save as many points as possible and gain as
  96.    high a slot as possible in the High Score file.

  99. Hall of Fame Bulletin Generator

  101.    Creates a set of Hall of Fame bulletins for each of the Sunrise
  102.    Doors, using the name of the player in the top postion. These
  103.    bulletins are updated every month, on the 1st of the month, via
  104.    your nightly event. It will also reset all files necesaary to
  105.    start a new game. FREEWARE and only works with those Sunrise
  106.    Doors that have been registered.

  133.    score file, as well other players scores. The Sysop determines
  134.    the category subject and the program will display it at the top
  135.    of the box that contains the current word you are working with.
  136.    You must think of a word, in line with the current category,
  137.    whose first letter matches the last letter of the word in the
  138.    box OR whose last letter matches the first letter of the word
  139.    in the box.

  141. Mail Box
  142. --------
  143.    Mail Box is a door used to allow the caller to create a Private
  144.    Mail Box, on any PCRELAY-based BBS system, running under ANY
  145.    Door-Capable BBS software on the market today.

  147.    All the caller does is open the door, reply to 2 options (if
  148.    the Sysop desires), and the mail box is created. Deletion of a
  149.    mail box is even easier, just chose the delete option and it
  150.    is done.

  154.    Allows for the matching of callers with like interests, based
  155.    upon answers given to questions developed by the Sysop. Allows
  156.    for the sending/receiving of private messages, multiple

  159.    single anser to a question or allow multiple answers!!!

  183.    entering a Reminder. When REMINDERS come due they will be displayed as soon
  184.    as you open the Door (registered version only) or after the opening screen
  185.    has been displayed (unregistered version).
